1. Curriculums Carried out in English and Qualified Instructors
(1) Military Education and Training of Department of International Business Class 1B is carried out exclusively in English, including syllabus, contents, materials, discussion, assignments, exams and exchanges.

2.Feature of the Curriculum: Besides, the five fields, Military Education and Training involves Public Service and Professional Knowledge Service and most of all, realizes National Defense Theories and Practices in the internship exercised at elementary and high schools in the hope of solid foundation deep-rooted in the society.
3.Curriculum Planning
(1) The freshman compulsory curriculum involves Military Education and Training Course and Nursing Course. The first semester curriculum is The National Defense Technology and second semester The National Defense Policy.
(2) The sophomore year (and beyond) selective curriculum involves International Situation, National Defense and Defense Mobilization.
(3) The above-mentioned curriculums are supplemented with international and domestic current affairs in the hope of developing patriotism and broadening the horizons.
4. Introduction to the Instructors: Thirty-one instructors (including two in Lanyang Campus) and two nursing instructors are employed. Shao Kan,Wen and other three instructors are responsible for the sophomore year (and beyond) curriculum, the rest 25 military instructors responsible for freshman compulsory curriculum and two nursing instructors responsible for nursing courses. (Appendix I)
5. Requirements
(1) The curriculum is divided into Freshman Compulsory and Sophomore Selective. Freshman Compulsory involves Military Education and Training for Male and Nursing for Female. No credits given. Sophomore (and beyond) Selective is given one credit, not included in the graduation credits.
(2) Full marks are 100 and qualified marks 60. Military Education and Training and Nursing courses are compulsory.
(3) Final grades given involve the performance in class, midterm and final exams.
